PROPOSITION A - PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Currently, Schulenburg ISD does not have an auditorium. The previous auditorium was demolished in 2012.

The new performing arts center will provide an auditorium with a stage and audience seating, fine arts classrooms and space for practice, rehearsals and storage for the theater arts and band program.

The new center will also include a weight room, athletic offices, and boys and girls dressing rooms.

PROPOSITION B - Perimeter Fencing and Sports Complex with Track and Tennis Courts

The current David Husmann Memorial Stadium, track and tennis courts are beyond their useful life. The stadium is not ADA compliant. The surface on the track is cracking, and the surface on the tennis courts is also cracking.

The new David Husmann Memorial Stadium would sit on the same site and would include additional seating, a new press box, locker rooms, 8 lane track, and more. New David Husmann Memorial Stadium would upgrade safety & security and be fully ADA & UIL compliant.

This proposition would include a Press box, grass field,  a new Track, Lights, Scoreboard and Sound.

• Renovations to current fieldhouse to be used by the visiting team

• Three tennis courts with lighting
