PUBLIC NOTICE OF REGULAR SAFETY AND SECURITY COMMITTEE MEETING SCHULENBURG INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that on September 23, 2026, the Schulenburg ISD Safety and Security Committee will meet at 4:15 PM at the:
SISD Administration Building 401 Bucek Street, Schulenburg, TX 78956
The Schulenburg ISD Safety and Security Committee will be conducted in person. This is a public meeting, and anyone wishing to attend may contact Dawn Givan, Director of Safety and Security by emailing at dgivan@schulenburgisd.net .
NOTE ON PUBLIC COMMENTS: Public comments at a called Safety and Security Committee meeting will be limited to agenda items listed on the posted agenda notice. Citizens who wish to address the Committee during the public comment portion of the meeting may submit their request in writing to Dawn Givan at dgivan@schulenburgisd.net no later than one hour prior to the posted meeting time. The content of the written comment may not exceed three minutes when read aloud. Public comments will be read during the designated portion of the posted agenda.

If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the committee will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E or Texas Government Code section 418.183(f). Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.
