Global Collaboration Day (Marshmallow Challenge)
Marshmallow ChallengeThe 4th Grade class of SES participated in the Global Collaboration Day Marshmallow Challenge.  There were approximately 3,300 students and adults participating in this challenge world-wide.  Participants were from Africa, Canada, Australia, and the United States.

Each group of SES students were provided with a brown bag containing 20 spaghetti noodles, 1 marshmallow, 1 yard of string, and 1 yard of tape.  The object of this challenge was to create the tallest structure possible using only the contents of this bag in 18 minutes!

The winner of this challenge was from North Carolina with a structure 40" tall.  The tallest structure as SES was 17" tall.
